Sahel Re-Sound supports Malian refugees and host communities in Mbera (Mauritania) by building a sustainable cultural ecosystem around music, audiovisual arts, and creative expression. It creates opportunities for training, collaboration, and production, strengthening social cohesion while opening pathways for young people to develop skills and professional futures.

In 2024, we completed the short film ‘The Sonic Ecology of the Adivasi Landscape’ (2024). An experimental film reflecting on how mining activities influence the sonic culture of the Adivasi, Indigenous people in Jharkhand (Northern India).

In december 2024 we facilitated a 3-day mediaworkshop for phd-scholars and community workers. The pogram focused on Adivasi Soundscapes emerging as a tool of Land Right Awareness in the Chhota Nagpur region in Northern India.
